Daycare

We are unique in that we take a maximum of 24 dogs at a time, including boarding and daycare dogs. This also includes overlap of dogs coming and going that day, so we usually have fewer numbers than our maximum. We find this number allows dogs to have a stress free and safe visit. They will have opportunities to be both indoors and outdoors, with plenty of space in both. Inside we provide dog beds, blankets and nooks to nap in at their leisure. We provide toys for playing, fresh water, individual attention and supervision. Our daycares now also include an enrichment puzzle during each visit. If your dog has allergies, we encourage you to bring food from home for us to use in their puzzle.

We offer discounts on daycares and daycare passes for multiple pets from the same home.

We require that daycare dogs come fully socialized, with both large and small breeds. They will not be put into a kennel during their stay, unless they need a break or lunch, and are free to roam, play, investigate or nap all in a safe and supervised environment.

If you would like us to provide a 15 minute decompression walk during daycare, please let us know! This is associated with a fee.

We start all dogs off with a trial daycare, and limit their visit to 4 hours or less the first time. This ensures they are not too overwhelmed on their first day, and allows us to properly assess their behaviour.

All dogs must be up-to-date with their Rabies, DA2PP, and Bordetella vaccines. These must be administered by a Veterinarian at least 10 days prior to their stay with us. They are also required to be spayed or neutered with the exception of puppies under 10 months of age. We also require that they have flea/tick preventative prior to their visit. Please talk to your veterinarian about the best options for your pooch.
